CONDITIONS AND TERMSOur company
SOTRANE-TOGO is an environmentally conscious oil company registered in TOGO authorized by TOGO EPA permit renewable every year due to the performance of the team, focusing on environmental oil treatment solutions with experienced recycling and reliable companies EPA permit and registration in Ghana dealing in such sludge and waste oil. We intervene where the need is and we are requested.
SOTRANE TOGO is a SLUDGE REMOVAL COMPANY based in TOGO Lomé Port. As worldwide Environmental policies stated as to have a clean environment viable for all, our company is fighting for that aim to help having sea clean environment. For that, in Lomé port, accordingly to the Bale/ Basel and MARPOL conventions for safety sludge disposal in the respect of ISPS code by using trucks for all discharging, we do our bests to that achievement.
Thus, sludge and waste oil following procedures are developed (see pictures):
1-Collect intention letter from the willing M/Vessel that intends of sludge and waste oil disposal addressed to Port Authority (see sample below)
2-Receive on the intention letter signatures of Port Authorities leading to Marpol assistances
3-SOTRANE TOGO collect the waste and sludge oil in trucks using standard flange/connexion and host
4-SOTRANE TOGO, after sludge and waste oil discharging, in the respect of the Marpol policies, the Transboundary Diagnostic Analysis and Basel conventions existing in between the GCLME countries (GUINEA-BISSAU, SIERRA LEONE, LIBERIA, CÔTE D’IVOIRE, GHANA, TOGO, BENIN, NIGERIA, CAMEROUN, EQUATORIAL GUINEA, SAO TOME AND PRINCIPE, GABON, CONGO, D.R. CONGO, ANGOLA) – send the trucks to Ghana border for Customs procedures and environmental services check-ups
5-After it is the term of check up / constituents analysis and conveying to the destination to be reduced to solids by removal of liquids for final recycling or re-use of the oil with water well-treated returned to the nature; all depend on the needs on the ground through Ghana partners.
6-Only advise us with the quantity your good M/vessel may have and we will arrange the trucks accordingly.
7-Any sludge with no or water less than 10% is free of charge but any equal or more than 10% water containing is charged accordingly. Feel free of asking any questions about. We are at your fully service in providing answers and solutions for your needs at your convenient.
Note that an official authorized certificate is given to the good M/vessel after discharging. Also, before proceeding, we need your good M/vessel’s intention letter signed by either Master or Chief Engineer and stamped (in your own formula.)….

Viewing the globalization of the economy and the demands of international maritime transport, due to its free port status, located at 06°08N / 01°17E with a 14 m depth and moderate winds making it possible for all types of ships to access the port on twenty-four hour basis and also being the only deep water port of West African coast that can accommodate third generation ships;
The Lomé Port Authority achieving its development and infrastructure modernization plan in the respect of the Code ISPS by positioning itself as the hub port in the West African sub-region, have been the main reason for the SOTRANE Management to select this port for its implantation.
